I had a conversation with a friend who as i have stated before works locally in the Oil Patch. He felt that as soon as the Newton Falls area shale well has completed the fracking and is put online this will be a game changer as far as lease interest is concerned. Also there has been a permit pulled for a Utica well to be started in the Southington area. When those two wells come online we should see the level of interest in land north of St.Rt.88 in Trumbull county, come alive and the Hunters will become the Hunted. I say this because i have contacted Chesapeake, Kenyon, Gulfport, Sierra and a few others and they were lukewarm about the northern counties. The best i have come up with is $500/acre for a five year lease from Reserve Energy Partners, aka Summit Petroleum. Think i'll keep my options open. Jim
