forced pooling

How would a prop owner know what pool he is in?  Is it as simple as an OG Co approaches a few owners and then neighbors join in or may be enticed to join in?  Is it already predetermined by geography what unit you would be in?  How would one find out info?

Forced pooling is sort of complicated.  You're usually only force pooled as a last resort and when you're unleased and refuse to sign a new lease with the company in question.  If it were happening to you, believe me, you'd know about it.
