the reach of their new software program that contains information about leases, etc.
It excludes Sullivan County, where there are certainly quite a few signed leases. When queried,
the company spokesman said that the collection of information from the counties was based
on geology. Interesting that the western counties of Maryland are also not included when
it is established fact that the Marcellus extends into those areas. Of course,the State of
Maryland has not exactly made the gas drillers welcome.
Since Sullivan County hasn't been included in any forums as of yet, would appreciate hearing
from residents about their natural gas experiences.
