One of the major hindrances to development of the Utica has been lack of infrastructure.
This is one step towards full development.
While the Rover Pipeline remains in regulatory limbo with some of its construction, the vast majority of the pipeline as it snakes across Ohio is already done, or will be within the next few days. On Friday, Rover made an official request with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) to begin flowing natural gas through Phase 1A of the pipeline by August 31st.
