Permalink Reply by Jason Grecco on April 14, 2013 at 3:04pm Depending on the leasor, compensation is typically a small monthly lease fee plus a per barrel compensation. If your land is currently leased be sure the injection wells do not conflict with your lease agreement.

The injection wells, especially when waste frac fluids seem to draw out all the protesters, at least the locals. Injection wells are viewed as the garbage dumps of the drilling industry. If you have a choice, better look at all options.
