Without the document being completely recorded (the ink isn't dry, lol) my guess is that they have. With no publicity as to Anadarko being hot in Muskingum County so to speak my assumption is they have a landsman working quietly.

Thanks Scott for checking that route! Can you get an idea of the general direction?

Any idea on how far west they have leased?

Can you provide a link to this info online?

Thank you for links.

Anyone else read through any of these contracts yet? I've skimmed through a couple and so far what I'm seeing doesn't look good for the land owners involved. Am I missing something?

Yeah, that's what I'm seeing too, cept it seems to read 100.00 total, not per acre. Not good.

They can use the sites to dump as well? With almost no limits or compensation to the owners?

Sorry, think it's storage, not dumping.

I belive the $100 is just a signing fee.....the price per acre would be in the addendum

Its a $100 signing fee- They signed my cousin so I contacted them and they said I was too far West.  Hopefully it moves this way!!!!

How far is to far west? If you don't mind me asking?

Cass Township- Supposedly too high risk

I kinda think some of this shale play is being located more upon acreage that is available to drill on than by formation. A lot of land is tied up by being held by production, to this end we do not know what the producers are holding out for in negation with the big boys. The big boys can not drill unless they have the leases and with HPB  land it puts a lot of acreage into a state of limbo.
