Some leases are 5800 and 20% already.

Your right!  But not in Venango county.

Dream on................every company has their "empire" and alot of it is expiring.  Alot of deals are not going thru......see natural gas prices lately? I hear that SWEPI in northern Butler and in Venango Co. are not honoring leases - no payments.

You sound like a "hope and Change" kinda guy..........just don't vote for that jerk in 2012.

Jasper,  What do you mean??? where did you hear that??

North Butler townships like Cherry or Mercer Twp. They took the lease and did not pay??

That is just south of me across the border. Shell seemed very busy over there. They even talked to some people just above 80. Dont know if the leased them or not

I personally know one lady who signed a lease on 6-24-11, with 180 days for SWEPI to pay, and as of today - 12/21/2011 - has not made payment on the lease.  Come 12:01 AM on 12/25/2011, the lease is null and void if payment is not tendered.

I see. Maybe they have changed their mind as to where they want to go next.

More confusion.

More than likely it's 180 business days...=36 wks.+ any holidays involved.

I wonder if they just kept the larger farms and let the smaller ones go?

I sure hope not.....I am supposed to be getting my Shell Bonus any day now!

51.6 acres Southern Lawrence County maybe 2 miles from Patterson Well.

Shell land mgmt. has had my lease for final approval and release of funds since 12/6......I am inches away from being paid......... I HOPE !!!

jasper

my draft was 90 business days with swepi

did she actually take it to the bank and endorse it?

Good point David. I know I was told not to delay getting my draft to the bank.

This is what starts the 90 day clock ticking.

Shell has been trying to do it in 45 business days but I don't know how much success they are having with that.

This waiting is a killer that's for sure!

David , are you still waiting and how long for you?

Glenn
