I know BP is currently buying leases in Mahoning County

Just this week the city council of Campbell, Oh voted to grant Hilcorp a lease for 167 acres. The main parcels are Roosevelt Park & some old steel mill/brownfield acreage along the Mahoning river. The local news media reported the numbers at $5089/acre & 20%. They didn't say if the royalty was net or gross.
