12463 gas in 44 days = 103386 mcf in a year. Another Marcellus well that won't pay for itself.
The Marcellus in PA is much thicker, potentially yielding more volume of gas.
The Marcellus is not that thick anywhere in Ohio. I'm not sure where you got them but those numbers are probably the depth to the Marcellus formation.
Bill,
$821,000/Year = 22.5 Barrels/day x 365 days/year x $100/Barrel
$82,000/Year = 112 MCF/Day x 365 days/year x $2/mcf
====================
$900,000 Totals Sales / Year
Can the ORMET well ever be profitable ?
What would this look like as a horizontal well?

The Ormet well is being choked back due to lack of infrastructure. In the Appalachia MH April 2012 "Corporate Presentation" to investors, look closely at page 28 "Marcellus Operations" and the Ormet well reference.
That's why I posted them. It all starts adding up when you look around a bit doesn't it?

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
