Exactly my situation and feelings as well Dave !  Keep me/us posted & I will do the same.

I sent you a message.  It has been a long time since I have used the messaging function.  I hope you received it.

My guess would be Ascent.  They have been very active in the Madison and Londonderry townships.  We are under lease due to a HBP, but the lease is pretty good.

According to the ODNR Oil and Gas viewer site ( it looks like 3 new units are being formed that are at least partially in Millwood Township.  One  (not named) will be just above the J. Anderson well and two (Rock Ridge S and Rock Ridge SW) will be on the Guernsey/Belmont border with only a little acreage in Millwood.  I'm not exactly sure what this means, but only the "rectangle" for the units are colored in.  There are no lines showing the actual well laterals.  Maybe these units are in very early or planning stages.

I have been getting offers to buy my mineral rights almost daily. This seems to indicate an increase in activity in our area. I have heard rumors of the Arick well just south of us in Noble county, but I can’t find much information on it. Does anyone have more information?

I don't know about the Arick, but the 3 Rock Ridge units have just been approved by the ODNR.  These units are on the Guernsey/Belmont county line.  The pad is in place for these 3 units on Putney Ridge. There is also a pad denoted as "Withey" on the ODNR gas well viewer that is located on Gobblers Knob in the SE corner of Belmont that should travel NNW into Millwood.  I tried to find that one last week while out driving around but could not find it for sure.  I have also received an uptick in offers lately.  Glad to see that you are back on the site.  It has been pretty quite for some time.  Hopefully, things will pick up soon.
