My sisters and I inherited the mineral rights for approximately 100 acres in Westland Township, Guernsey Co. I have followed information in the news related to the Utica Shale fracking in the various counties in Ohio, including Guernsey County. My question is this. Is it wise to attempt to contact possible interested oil companies or must a person just wait until they approach and make an offer? Does anyone have any insight into any activity in the particular area I mentioned? Any information, insights, advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you, Kathy Lighthizer
