Thanks Mark...  Trying to get some small land In Harrison County Ohio Green Twp on border of Archer Twp leased.It was inherited by my 2 step sons from their dad who died in a mining accident.According to their uncle he was getting ready to lease this but was killed in a mining accident.

All the surrounding land is leased by Chesapeake except for this small parcel.Was offered $10K  to sell the mineral rights so figure if they could get this leased .It must be worth something if this  mineral company offered $10k for 1-1/4 acre.

Do not want a lot of money just a lease in case they drill.Thanks

They said in the written offer, not to say who they were,but they do advertise in the Harrison News Herald newspaper. It is still on the table  so sorry I can not say who,Sorry
