- Currently we are supposed to have a lease that is years old. No well drilled and no royalties paid. We want to know what is going on. There is no lease on file with company and we were not given a copy. We live in a very rich area or gas and oil. As a landowner I am currently researching my legal rights. Since I do pay for MY land and all that is beneath it.
