new leg

Just asking if a new leg going to a different unit but on you're pad do I get any royalties from it.

It might depend on how they divide the units. We are in a unit for part of our tract, but another part is not. This is on the wellpad. It looks like wells going the other direction would put our remaining acreage in that unit.

well the pad is on our unit but its going north to a new unit they say we are not incld. in the new well I guess the pad must be on the line so we don't get a part of it. thanks you

If your south and the leg is running north then unfortunately you will not be included. Operators usually do their units up as, 

ABC unit north

ABC unit South
