I'm roughly six months out from getting out of the military and since my first deployment I have been itching to get back home to Ohio and purchase a farm. When I was doing some research in Ashtabula county I came across the Utica development. I am just looking for any online literature and web sites that can give me more information on the Utica and also which area in the county should I really be considering to purchase in.
I don't want to miss out on this opportunity, but I am also trying to secure my land while I'm still deployed.
Any info will help, thanks!

There is a long established realty in Jefferson which can probably help.
Hate to give you bad news but land prices have skyrocketed since the word of oil and gas has gotten around. Buying land with mineral rights has gotten very expensive. You will have to be very patient to find a good deal.
I have no idea if you are legit. It wouldn't surprise me if someone used the "returning vet" mime as a way to gain an advantage, Not saying you are doing that, just letting people know its a possibility.
If you are legit, saying "thanks for your service" is not enough.
