old leases.. Dover Atwood Corp.

Found out our property is part of a lease with Dover Atwood Corp.  Does anyone know anything about them?  I have tried contacting them a few times but get voicemail that says they are not available at this time.  I havent found a website for them either?  Any suggestions?

Shelly, what area are you in. There was a local drilling company called Atwood Energy (Ravenna,OH), some years back it was bought out by Lomak Oil ( down in Hartville,OH) if my memory serves me correctly, and they did have an office in Ashtabula county. I also remember a sale to Mitsubishi (yes thats right). 

 BTW there also was a local driller that was once called Park Ohio Energy, EDC (Energy Development Company), and Viking Resources will also show up on some NE Ohio lease records. These companies had a history of drilling and operating shallow wells in NE Ohio and changed names as they were bought out or took on new partners. Hope this helps someone. Good luck
