Hope it helps you more than it helped me.

It is annoying beyond words that some major gas companies are permitted to shirk their reporting obligations.  These days, I guess, they pretty much run the show regarding this matter and many other things in PA.  They do whatever they want.

I am disappointed as well. It is time for us landowners to get in touch with the Pa DEP and make this an issue. Maybe even better to call our local representatives.

In what way are you saying the report is incomplete?

I see new wells that are not completed, not drilled etc. noted in the far right column as to why there are no production numbers.

All active wells that are producing look like they are up to date

I didn't see CHKs Thompson well reported on in Beaver County. 

However, it was listed for the part of 2011 that it was in production.

Shin, if you look at the top in red there is a sort of explanation about things being put in over the weekend physically. By this time next week it should be complete, if not then we can (female) dog about it.

Its common for them to update the list every week as the reports come in from the gas companies, today was the last day they had to submit the reports, takes them a while to enter it into a spread sheet.

It has been updated again and almost all operators are now in there.

So it would appear.  Except for CHK;  no shock there.

Too many of my wells now are showing as "plugged".  Easy come, easy go, I guess.

That would been a lot of work drilling and plugging all those Talisman wells since the last production report, more then likely they are waiting to drill, as they were last time. Just a guess.

From the PA DEP Press Folks: "The information on the website is what has been reported to us thus far. We are working with operators that haven’t yet reported."

The PA DEP is just now coming into the 21st century when it comes to technology.  They have the data in house....somewhere.  You can't just pass some new laws or regulations and expect the DEP to just update their systems and have no issues with data processing, etc.  In this day of budget cuts, you expect the DEP to run like some fortune 500 company?  In what world are you living? 

I worked for the DEP for some time.  They have boxes upon boxes of data awaiting processing.  They are doing a pretty good job and must deal with right to know requests, media requests, attorneys requests, anti fracking requests, politicians requests, general complaints, daily inspections, etc.  All with budget cuts and personnel shortages.

They aren't perfect, but they don't deserve the grief that they get most of the time.
