PVR partners offered me $51,000 to put 2 gas pipes and one water line through my property, one time payment. They would cut a 100 foot path through my land and it would be permanent. I am not doing it for that money. Thoughts?

A reminder how valuable this pipeline is. Penn State's MCOR has an entire booklet detailing how leasing of pipeline can affect the landowner and the surface, and what needs to be included in a pipeline lease. SPELL OUT every detail you want protected, compensation for, and length of term before renegotiations must be done.
Drop by the County Extension Office. If they don't have this publication, they can quickly get it. It's free.
4-County (Potter and McKean) frequently has MCOR materials on hand @ meetings or recommends interested folks drop by the Extension Offices when we run out!

Permalink Reply by Christopher Meehan on September 17, 2013 at 1:47am Hi Theresa, I will find out more when they send me the plans but from the conversation I had was, it will come down off the powerline that supplies Bloss. They have to get across the White street road so that would make the pipeline going Southeast at that point. I would say that it would be going over to the Morris Run/Fallbrook area if I had to guess. When I get more info I will post. Thanks!

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale.
