Question on royalty calculations when it comes to wet gas

If you have gross royalty lease at well head how do they determine royalties when it comes to wet gas. How do  they distinguish wet gas vs dry gas as it comes out of the ground. Doesnt the wet gas and dry gas stay in same pipeline until it makes it to a midstream company that separates it????
