Can anyone on here tell me an approximately how much solid material is brought to the surface for each mile that a well is drilled? Would it fill a normal size dump truck or is it more like a coal truck? From what I understand, all of the horizontal wells are the same diameter, and would therefore produce the same amount of cuttings, right? Thanks in advance.KathiSee More

I live in Guernsey County where land owners with no wells are being paid more than 5000 per acre plus 20 per cent royalties. I on the other hand get paid less than $20 a month for a poor well that is holding my land in production. I'm trying to learn how people are negotiating old leases.
