What's required to be HBP in PA

Hi everyone,The initial term of my lease will be up in August and the last word from Southwestern was that my unit wasn't on the drilling schedule until sometime in Oct-December. So my question is this: Does anyone know what's required by law to be held by production? The easy answer is that they'd be producing gas but there are horror stories on here about companies claiming that any activity like parking a bulldozer on the property was good enough. Chances are good that at least the pad will…See More

Can someone recommend a buyer for mineral rights?

I am in a pretty tough spot right now and may have to sell a few acres worth of gas rights to get past it. This isn't something I'd like to do but circumstances being what they are it's likely sell some or lose them all. So can anyone recommend a company? Or just offer any advice? On another thread it was recommended that I look for buyers on texas or oklahoma and that offering a friend or relative a percent share in the O/G rights. My options for friends and relatives are rather limited but…See More

"The company's that contacted me only wanted a percentage ownership. The letter says this way the landowner keeps skin in the game."
