Sen. Yaw (Chair Energy Comm. in PA ) to hold public hearing on post-production costs

"Post-Production Costs Cause Concern
Over the past several weeks, I have been contacted by a number of residents in my Senate District surrounding the confusion of the guaranteed 12.5% royalty in the Oil and Gas Lease Act.

While there is no quick legislative fix, I pledge to support a law which provides clarification to contracts and certainty which landowners seek for their future agreements.

To aid in this effort, I will be holding a public hearing on transparency related to royalty payments and post-production costs on Thursday, June 27th. The hearing will be streamed live on my website http://www.senatorgeneyaw.com/ ."
