Tax on lease bonus

We are in negotiations with Acsent..Wondering how much of my bonus check I have to give back to Uncle Sam.

It is outrageous. They tax the land owner , they tax the gas and oil company, K-sic wants a severance tax, they tax the pipe liners, they tax the sale of gas and oil, they tax you when you buy gas and oil, they tax the land.........coming soon, an existence tax.  And they do nothing to deserve it.
