Have we finally determined what county is the sweet spot of the Utica shale play?

Permalink Reply by searcherone on June 21, 2014 at 4:30pm I agree that Belmont and Monroe are the "sweet spots" for now and that is Ohio Utica. However, with all the Utica activity going on in WV the "ultimate sweet spot" could be in Marshall, Ohio, Wetzel or Tyler counties WV. Those two Ohio counties and the four WV counties border each other with the Ohio River running between.
