Wayne National Forest part of the BLM (Bureau of Land Mangement)

Since the public discussion began about Wayne National Forest several people have insisted that I live in the Wayne National Forest.   That statement is totally wrong and most of the people see an entire shaded green area on the map and assume that every acre of that is owned by the government.   That is far from the truth.   So how good to find this press release published in the Akron Beacon Journal.   I have posted a great quote that sums up the situation in the Wayne National Forest.   Thank you Sen. Leasing of Wayne National Forest property simply gives private citizens the opportunity, if not the guarantee, to develop the minerals they own. …
