Question, again, what Twp. are you in?  We're  in Washington Twp.  about 1 mile east of 800 and the Tuscy. line.  Some very preliminary activity is underway I'm told to drill in that area.  Lack of   RUMA for that area causing any well to possibly be located off hard surfaced road rather than gravel roads.  Note for Kieth Mauck:   What's the "county group" reference about?

I think he's trying to tell you that this is a very site-specific question and the best answers would most probably be obtained from folks who live in Harrison County, Ohio.

Travis, your reply embarrassed me a bit as I am the one who monitors the Harrison County, Ohio webpage. I just went back and checked all of your post and could find no entry where you asked a similar question on the Harrison County, Ohio webpage. You did comment several times regarding the Boy Scout well. The only place were I see that you asked your question is above in the General Shale Discussions at the main website. I'm not trying to be confrontational; could you please point out when you posted a similar question on the Harrison County, Ohio webpage?

We own property on the edge of Deersville on Adams Road. AEP is interested in placing a drilling pad on our property. We had our second meeting with them last week to discuss details and a letter agreement.

John,

in the most western twps. there is development happening;

Freeport - 7 wells producing and 4 more permitted

Washington - 3 wells producing and 3 permitted (plus portions of the boyscout north laterals)

Franklin - 6 permitted

Monroe - 2 drilled and being fracked

these twp's have many shallow wells from different gasco's, so putting units together is not as easy......also in the north west you have the oil death line to consider......and I think franklin will pick up the pace as soon as the lake is leased, which should be shortly into the new year.

a line where there is little to no activity to the west and major activity to the east.....pretty much the line between the oil phase and wetgas phase which can be seen on many maps of the play.

however there are some things happening on the oil side.......hopefully they crack the code and are able to get profitable production.
