What are there special plans going on where unknown company is to lease only 4 townships in Belmont County Ohio

I recently saw a times leader full page ad from a Vp Ventures wanting to lease only 4 Belmont County Townships starting with Warren,then Kirkwood ,Flushing and the western 1/3 of Union Township .

I also was told a company is planning to build a frack water treatment facility near Barnesville.

Does anyone else have any information or ideas about this situation .

When I called the newspaper phone number I was told the person was not able to tell me any information based on his position in the company

All I was told is there will be a major signing by the end of January.

Any comments on this situation .

 Bill, Whoever they are they seem fairly small , I was just wondering if others had been contacted by anyone from the ad .

It does appear they had a conflict according to your web address you posted .

It will be interesting to see what transpires since the new year is here and some of those still trying to get a piece of the pie have a new budget to work with .

I wonder if there are similar ads in other papers expressing desire to lease 4 counties at a time .

Also why does the reply option  not show up on some posts ?
