It will be the land owner who makes the decision, right or wrong as to how his land is to be used in years to come at least until he dies . .
The land owner cannot decide what the future holds for his family. I've seen it too many times a father tries to steer his offspring one way or another. Usually it fails. Trying to follow other folks advice often fails badly too. You cannot know in advance what is to take place in the future ,,,, even the next day is uncertain.
As a boy, I made a poor choice of crawling thru a door designed just to keep me out by my father. He was intent on trying to protect me. My choice cost me the sight in one eye. I had to live with that for about 75 years. My father lived with the knowledge that his attempt to protect me from harm was thwarted by the fact that his door had one bar that was spaced just the tiniest bit wider from the next lower bar. I was able to just squeeze my head and body thru this fraction of an inch and as a result lost the use of my eye for the rest of my 81 years.
Many folks who thought I was a fool are now taking a second look and wondering how I survived some of the choices presented to me that I had to make. And the choices they made have caused them nothing but heart ache and in some cases even an early death!
I thank everyone who had input to my questions and the advice that worked for them that was offered to me.

That's the way I see it as being and continuing myself.
Wake him up.
All as it always is JMHO.

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
