Yes.

There has been a fair amount of past discussion on this exact subject.

Rather than repeat all the arguments, I suggest that you go to the top right corner of this window and type in "seismic" in the "Search Go Marcellus Shale" box.

If, after looking at the past discussions, you have a specific question - I (and likely others) will attempt to answer.
