Any new information from Des's meetings in Barnesville and Centerville this week? I heard he was supposed to have final leases done for review.

I do not have a scanner. Sorry!
It does appear similar to the email, except Des didn't announce it (Once again no offense). It appears to be a deal that WILL NOT fall through, and at the very lease a deal worth looking into. Lease offers with these numbers won't go on forever up here.
All I wanted to do was inform anyone who had not seen the ad. Don't want anyone to miss a good opportunity!
this ad also says if you have 100 acres or more and are interested in joining a land group in Northern Belmont County or Guernsey county to call also ,it sounds awful funny .one part offers a lease price and the other part offers a chance to join a group .
It still seems strange that Chesapeake can sell 25% of their leases at $15,000 per acre and others can still buy new acres at $5115
The first questions to ask are:
Who is VP Ventures? Is VP Ventures financially able to pay $5k+/acre. Who might be behind this ad? I can find no information on them.
Finnbear,
Why don't you take your own advice and call them. Its a toll free number.
I did. I don't have land in those townships and they would/could not answer my questions when I did call them.
I googled the number and it is listed and a mobile number from india.
Called the number. They said they were based out of Texas. Asked me a kot of questions and said that no one was available at the time and they would have someone get back with me.
Someone returned my call. Was very nice, but didn't want to discuss much since my family's land is not in the townships listed on the ad. He said that they may be open to surrounding lands at a later date. He did say that they have accumulated a large amount of capitol to invest in the land in these townships and to spread the word to anyone in those areas. They plan to sign by the end of January. Hope this helps!

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
