It always is amusing to me that so many of the anit drilling people out there are so rude!  Here in America I thought everyone had the choice to voice their opinion.  I have made several comments to articles published in the local paper concerning drilling.  The comments I made was that of my opinion and why I am for drilling.  The responses was unbelievable.  I was called a greedy landowner that didn't care if the ground water was ruined.  I was called irresponsible for leasing MY mineral rights.  I never once attacked anyone for giving their opinion but I guess it is a one way street with these anti drilllers people.  They always bring up the movie gasland and to me that is a one sided movie but again that is my opinion.  Well, anyway I just wanted to know if anyone else who has leased has had similar discussions.  Nobody want a well near them but everyone is tired of paying high gas prices to run their cars and heat their homes with.  I believe it comes down to this.  they are jealous.  They are left out of the leasing and royality money and feel if they cant have any neither can anyone else.  What they don't realize is the most farmer/landowners work very hard to have what they have.  We put up with development that are put in and the run off water comes into our field and we have to dig new drainage ditches.  They then complain about the smell of manure but we have been spreading it for decades and we didn't ask them to move next to us.   They complain about our tractors on the roads or that we make too much noise at night when we are trying to get our crops in.  Now landowners have a chance to make a few bucks and now they want to take that away from us.  What else do they want! 

Again this is just my opinion and I am tired of people telling me what I can and can not do with MY land!
