"The compessor are made right here in Mt. Vernon Ohio at Ariel Corporation. Currently heavily used in Northwest part of Barnett Play where liquids are being produced by Devon. (Northwest of Ft Worth). When the pressure are low the compressor will also be needed to de-water the well. http://www.arielcorp.com/applications/markets.aspx?id=566 Gas Lift Gas lift is one form of artificial lift systems, widely used to supplement the natural formation energy, enabling the oil well to produce. Casing head gas and or associated gas is gathered, compressed and injected into the oil well casing. The injected gas then passes through gas lift mandrels and valves that are installed at various elevations of the production tubing string, lowering the hydrostatic pressure of the oil column, thus causing the oil to flow. The gas is then recovered and re-injected into the casing again. The oil produced is collected for further processing and refining."

I wouldnt belive everything you hear unless it is from devon energy well owner around us said they dont tell anyone anything about how a well looks or is predicted to be

I just heard from THREE different guys that the Eichelberger well is going to produce upwards of 2,500-3,000 BOED. Wow...that was pretty easy!

It's kind of funny this "big news" hit right after you posted the seismic testing maps. I've known about the pumping of water at the Eichelberger well for 3 1/2 weeks.

Just to clarify....what I said about the Eichelberger well production was said out of context to prove how easy it is to spread rumors on here.

Contrary to what the “Experts” are saying about water in oil and gas boreholes…it is quite common. And, there is technology driven equipment to separate the oil from the gas, and inject the water back into the formation.

Trying to hone in on the characteristics of the formation would be my guess.
