I attended a meeting where an attorney is offering $3200 an acre and then 50% of what ever they sell the lease for. He is also offering finders fee's on the "sly" to people that bring others in. He is trying to lease up land in Independence and Raccoon Townships using pressure tactics saying there was a pending deadline. He says everyone will get their money by the end of the year and that a Canadian Bank is the backer. He said they are talking with major corporation like Chevron. Any one else hearing this guy?

It was $3200 plus 16% royalties guaranted. If it sells for more they take 15% of selling price then you get 50% of whats left above the $3200

Example: say it sells for 10,000 acre, they take 1,500, leaving 8,500, then subtract 3,200 leaving 5,300.  You get half 2,650 for a total of 5,850 an acre.

Did you talk with this guy? It seemed so unrealistic. I hope that anyone that did sign up gets what they hoped for.....but what if it dosen't sell? I'm thinking if it sounds too good to be true, then...........
DO YOURSELF A FAVOUR: DEAL WITH CHESAPEKAE DIRECTLY. STAY AWAY FROM LAWYERS AND PROMISED MONEY FROM FOREIGN BANKS.

Tom,

Here is some info that you may find useful.

Are you thinking about signing or resigning a gas lease? Do you currently have a gas lease? Did you feel cheated on your last lease? Do you need help getting out of your current gas lease? Do you need representation? If so, Northeast Natural Resources Advisory Board is here for you! Northeast prides themselves in representing the individual land owner not the gas companies so you get top dollar per acre and the highest royalties for your land. Check us out at http://www.nenaturalresources.com/ or call us today at 724-359-5035.

Tom,

Did you sign? Just curious.

No I did not.  I now hear this guy is being indicted and that no one has received any money. I will try to confirm this but the source was reliable.
