I received a mailer this week-end about a free Oil & Gas Lease Workshop. They are held on 3 days, June 16 in Cranberry and June 15 & 17 in Butler. Call 724-225-1110 to reserve a seat. I am sharing what is on the flyer, I am not endorsing anything, I thought about checking it out, it is 2 hr long meeting.

Doug:I have 5 acres on Kriess road,off rt. 68.Rex Gas and Oil gave me $2000. per acre and 15% royality.I had no group to bargain for a higher price as neighbors had already signed up . I figured i would be "pooled" if i did not sign.

James, Thanks for the reply. I am in the middle of negotiating $ and % now. I am working through an attourney in Butler. It looks as though Rex is going to be slowing down on their leasing. Not concrete info, but heard from an unbias person.

Doug:I read REX progress report and they are now working in Westmoreland county. The reprocessing plant on rt.68 should be in operatrion in Oct.2010. For info rexx.com Also don't be surprised if REX Gas and Oil corp is bought out by an India Company.

I read Rex just sold some Butler County leases to a Japan corp.
