My 36 acre lease expired last week, with no contacts from any drillers. I contacted Shell and XTO, and they said they are no longer leasing here, and REX said they would get back to me, but they have not. I am about 1.5 miles from the new pad that was just constucted on 19 at the Grubbs farm. Anyone else seeing the lack of interest in this area?

REX was interested and now nothing.
Permalink Reply by Archer Man on May 31, 2012 at 12:42pm Tom, interesting discussion herein. If you are still looking to re-lease then another company that you can try is Hilcorp Energy (Western Land Services is their leasing agent). I'm not sure that they are leasing here in Muddy Creek Twp, but they are in Mercer and Lawrence Counties. It might be worth a look. Best of luck
