Swepi sent the attached letter to Center Township, notifying them of the plans and procedures for the coming activity at the Renick Well Site. Work on the pad is scheduled to begin this week. Thanks to Center Township for posting this on their website, I found it very interesting and informative.

Shell is wasting no time getting the Renick pad build.  Lots of equipment moving dirt there today.  In other news, Edge Mark has started building there pad in Concord Twp.

Thanks for the update Geo. Let us know if you see or hear anything about work on the Caporali Pad if you would. Shell currently has no drilling rigs working in Butler County, but that should change soon!

What surprised me about the Renick site, is how fast they got started.  I was by about 3 weeks ago, and there was no survey stakes what so ever. Thanks to your post, i made it a point to drive by today.  In the time i drove by last time, they had stakes everywhere.

I get past the Caporali site a few times a week.  I would assume that the equipment will be taken from the Renick site to the Caporali site, but time will tell.

Geo5, where is the pad in Concord Twp located? I own a parcel of land there, but live out of state.

Bob,

According to the permit coordinates, it is located on parcel # 110-2F24-A13 in southwest Concord Twp near the intersection of Boydstown Rd. & Clark Rd. I attached the permit report and a map of the area, the pad location is shown in the red box.

Is this correct with what you have personally observed Geo?

The map is dead on.  The entrance is just above the box, at the corner of the road.

Thanks for the replies. My land is east of 38.

Hi,

I drove past the Renick pad today 7/16 at noon.  From the road it looks like a rig has arrived and is being set up.
