There aren't many landowners groups left here.  I think you're a bit too late.  Maybe you can cut a deal with Chesapeake.  They probably leased up 80% of the land in this county but they are slow to get going here.  They're drilling a bunch in Carroll County but nothing started in Columbiana yet.

I don't think there's a problem with leaving #'s.  Good luck.  I talked to a landman with Chesapeake a month ago and they told me then that Columbiana County is 80% leased.  The newspaper in Carrolton or Canton (can't remember which paper wrote it) reported Carroll county was 95% under lease and that too was about a month ago.

You're absolutely right Joe.  I have friends in Wayne and Medina counties who have each shown me a series of company offers for their AC.  Like the usual ... first ones in the $15-$25 range, till the current one, a $250 offer.  Get a Group going folks ... not 2-3 ...just one that has leadership willing to do due diligence and educate the folks first.
