Saw an ad in the local paper for Snyder Bros. Inc. out of Kitanning. Said they're looking for leases. Anyone know anything about this company?

The company is Dawson and they are from Midland ,Texas.They are doing 3-D seismic imaging and were hired by EQT out of Pittsburgh.

Does anyone have any information about the recent oil and gas survey activity that occurred along route 219 coming from Brookville in Jefferson county and extending all the way into Elk county? A Texas survey company streched some kind of electronic cable all along route 219 in that area.

James, I thought your comment on drilling your own well was interesting. I was under the impression that for most landowners, the cost would be cost prohibitive[3-5million?]. Please call me to discuss @[312-576-9282].

Elk County is a good place to be in the Marcellus. We do site devopment and handle many other aspects of the Marcellus Shale here in Elk, Cameron , McKean, Lycoming and elswhere in PA. The boom is right around the corner. It is going to happen and is starting to happen now! We have seen very positive signs in Elk, Cameron, and McKean counties.
