Any Shell Landowners who havent been paid want to band together as a group for Legal Representation response to Shell/Holland?

I spoke with a gentleman by the name of Matt Warnock today with the law firm Bricker and Eckler out of Columbus, Ohio. He is part of the law firms "shale task force." Experienced firm with oil/gas law. Their group would be willing to come to guernsey county to speak with all of us who havent been paid, or has questions.  They are looking for somewhere between 600-1200 acres of property to represent or even more.  Just an idea at this point nothing set in stone.  Looking for more people and to see if there is any interest?  Doesnt look like were gonna get paid unless we get a decent attorney to represent us and represent alot of land. Follow the link below for Matt Warnock's legal resume.

My bank notified me today that my draft was cancelled per land dept. directive ( Shell ) and for each five of these it cost our bank some $35.00 in cost. I questioned her as to who was responsible for the fees and she stated the bank had to EAT THE FEES.

In addition there is a fee at the recorders office to have a (RELEASE) of your deed from Shell, for a lease you have waited on for 7 months and never received a dime . Not one employee from either Holland or Shell will give you an exact time frame about anything. 

This has been a terrible boondoggle. So much for good faith effort. Yep, I"m in.

I'm in agreement that it's gonna take someone like Bricker&Bricker to get it resolved. A large group of people with no leadership is like a bunch of chickens running around with their heads cut off!  They should come to town & investigate if for no other reason than for the news article that could go into their oil&gas news&information site called{ Shale Ohio} This is news that all of eastern ohio unleased landowners will want to read. to help them choose who they lease to & what the terms should be. Within the next year or two, after more wells are drilled & are producing, they will know what we are sitting on. landowners bonus $$$ and royalty % may be going way up!May be able to negotiate far better terms.

Lets all work to get this news out to the general public and let them know whats going on with the Shell/Holland group. Call your newspapers, columbus tv stations, etc.  It will defintely affect businesss decisions for all throughout the rest of the Utica Shale play, and just maybe bring some accountability to Shell/Holland.  Everyone spread the word about the possible legal representation and we will work out some details for a possible meeting date/time.  More people interested the better off we will all be! Lets get our money deserved to us!  Spread the word about the go marcellus site.  Everyone who owns land needs to be on here posting their thoughts and catching up with the latest news.
