Well site staked out 1 mile west of Antrim. permit for horizontal well in the oil rich utica shale. the Rt.22 corridor from cambridge to londonderry I've been told is the best of the best as far as the utica is concerned. we will soon see! May take a year to see the production report, and they may not want to frac it cause we dont have the pipelines laid or the cracker plants built yet. But this well should tell the story. Watchout Guernsey co!

Hope so have landed leased to Gulfport in Londonderry.
faith i own some ground near winterset i live in stark county how close is this well to birmingham-gunn rd.
you must live close to our land we are on glenview rd at top of hill above gunn rd
did you folks sign a surface to core lease or UTICA and below lease?
the Best lease in that area bar none was the Carrizo lease, if this Gulfport well is being drilled under the flipped lease, then look out, those landowners may have given up alot more than they thought. Remember the royalty is based on the paperwork signed and filed, not the promises made. Nothing against GP they got a great buy at 2200 an acre,I believe those landowners net was $1840
the shell lease you talk about what were their terms, has anyone got paid yet?
Slight correction, I believe the lease you are speaking of Mark was actually the Wishgard lease that they then flipped to Gulfport. The lease was not directly negotiated with Gulfport. There are some landowners who signed leases negotiated directly with Gulfport & I believe these leases would at least be equivalent to the Carrizzo, JRM & Shell leases. However, from family and friends that I have talked to in this area, I do believe that a lot of them did sign the Wishgard lease that was flipped to GP.
I have 160 acres , we havent leased yet .shell sent us a lease for $5000.00 and 20% but it needs some work hope to be signed by end of week

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
