I saw a rig down there last night on what I think is either the Yost pad or the other one that is right beside it.
I am a little confused by the two pads so close together and I do not know which is which or what has been drilled on either so far.
But, I am pretty sure that the rig I saw from Putney is on one of them.
I will go by there tonight as see if I an get some better information.
Permalink Reply by bo boboski on February 12, 2015 at 11:03am The LAW well site is IDLE!. They went in and drilled the top holes on 3 of the 4 laterals,I see the 4th lateral is permitted but there are only 3 holes in the ground. 3 -24" cased wellheads.. Probably used a small tophole rig. to get them cased down below the water table. Oil prices may determine when they go back to drill the horizontal legs.

Permalink Reply by catt on February 12, 2015 at 1:52pm Oh that is why they have it marked as drilling.....the ODNR is usually very late in updating it's site so figured it had been drilled.
Permalink Reply by bo boboski on February 12, 2015 at 2:53pm It was drilled. 3 holes, but probably only down 1000 ft. or so to get the 24"pipes set it. They can hold the units property now for as long as they want. Hard telling when the big rig will ever show up!
Permalink Reply by David Allen Lilly on February 13, 2015 at 2:36am Some of my Amish friends asked me about pipeline easement compensation last nght.
They said the man told them $50 a foot for an 8 to 12 inch pipe and $25 a foot for additional pipes.
This seemed very high to me.
They are on Rose Hill Rd. up towards Putney.
Can anybody help me get them some good information ?

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
