Need some advice on leasing land in Greene Twp Harrison County

My 2 step sons have recently inherited about 1-1/2 acres in Green Twp Harrison County.  I step son is in the Navy and the other is handicapped.

 

Now how do I go about finding someone to lease this land.I am pretty sure they own the rights   because I found paperwork that their grandfather had leased it for 5 years in 1968.

 

Does it have to go thru a landman  and how much this costs.

 

Any ideas on my next step we can do to see if this is leaseable and which company is the best.

 

Any gas people ought there can contact me on this board.

 

Any help will help.We live in Columbus.Ohio

If they need your property they will be getting in touch with you,

My thoughts on such a small parcel is that they wont mess with you unless your in a pooling zone where3 they need you

My step sons bio father was killed in a mining accident in March 2012 near Brilliant Ohio. While going thru some of his papers ,we found 2 letters   1 from  DSPenn  and 1 from Aegis Energy one on 11-2011  and the other 1-2011 wanting to lease the land.  I have tried to call both these and can not get thru  only left voice message and  they never called back.

 

So I am thinking they wanted to lease it. Who else would I get hold of.Any info  would be appreciated.Thanks
