I have a friend looking for 50-100 acre hunting/fishing land in eastern Ohio. He is aware that mineral rights will not be coming with purchase.  Initially he thought surface land would drop in value due to possiblilty of production, pipelines etc but that does not seem the case. Hunting tracts on market have almost been non existent the  last year with a couple sold at auction for premium prices. Any feedback is appreciated.

I would think you could find decent hunting land around $2,000 to $2,500 acre..........maybe cheaper for reclaimed.

Thanks for link. I will have them check that property out.

Swiss Lands Realty is in that business. I think Sam Moore is here on GoMarcellus.

Bruner Land is also in that business.

I have 60 acres with 40 acres that have minerals rights.Prime hunting land with a very substantial offer on the minerals. I am willing to sell surface and minerals. Just East of Freeport. Send email to delph330@yaho.com. FYI it is not cheap or anywhere near $2500 acre

How much for the surface? Is it 60 and 40 acres (100 total) or 60 acres but you only have min. rights on 40 of the 60?

Sell the minerals to whoever has made the "very substantial offer".

60 total, 40 have minerals. will not sell seperate unless an offer was made on surface i could not pass up

We have buyers.

You have an offer on the minerals, correct?

If you're truly interested in selling, name your price on the surface.

Is it bottom ground or hilly? Timber or brushy or open? Any water (streams, ponds)?

email me your max offer price and contact information to delph330@yahoo.com.If we are in the ballpark, I will send maps, photos, location ect....

I saw this in the window of the local real estate office. This is only a few miles from me. Great deer hunting area.
