Land PURCHASE Prices in Columbiana County, Ohio

I may have around one hundred acres for sale in Columbiana County, Ohio.

The decision will depend on the price per acre.

I could hold onto the land and see what happens in 2011, but I would be willing to sell the land and move on for the right price.

What purchase prices have people seen and who might be interested in buying this land?

One other very important point - the land includes mineral rights and it is suitable for oil or shale drilling.

There was a sale in early 2009 in Saline Twp, Section 29,Zone 8 for aproximately 100 acres for $200,000. I think the new owners live in Waynesville.  I would have some interest in your land plus mineral rights.  Please discribe the topography of the land; and if it has marketable timber and any streams on the property.  Stay in touch. I forgot to mention the sale was in Jefferson County not Columbiana but the sale should be counted as a comp.
