Last week, my husband and I received a letter from Shoeffler regarding some land that we own in Smithfield.  He and I know very little about what goes along with leasing our rights, royalties, etc.  Could someone please point us in the right direction?  Thanks.

We used a real estate attorney from Tiltonsville. I would suggest you contact him. I don't think I can post his name, but you shouldn't have difficulty in figuring out who he is. I think you live near him. We were very pleased with the negotiations that he performed. Where we were going 3 steps forward and 2 steps back in our negotiations, he quickly got us the deal that we wanted and more. I have recommended him to several people and they have all been impressed with the results. Best Wishes

Would you be willing to post the terms you received?

Thank you for the info, Dee.  We appreciate it. : )
Hi Wendy... I sent you a message with detailed info, but we have formed a Jefferson County Landowners group that has hired Dick Emens, an Oil and Gas attorney from Columbus to represent our group. He has created a well crafted landowner friendly lease. Please message me if you have any additional questions...
We haven't begun the negotiating process to date. We will close the opportunity to sign on with our group on October 28th, and then we will move forward with the negotiating process.
Ok...great.  How can my husband and I join?
If you would like to give me a call I can give you the info and send you a contract and answer any questions you may have. Thank you. (614) 488-8119.

Thanks for the informaton Cathy.  Will be in touch soon.

Is there anyway I could still join? I have been contacted by DPS Penn and they only offered me $750 an acre.  I know your closing the opportunity to sign but was still wondering if your taking anymore.  You can reach me at 740-632-1514.
