Information has been very limited up till now. And I have researched everywhere for answers to , where ,when and who is going to be making the move. That is to who will start tapping the natural resources in my small town or neighborhood. Rumors in our small town are plentiful and limited contact with the Gas / Drilling Companies. Leaves the average person like myself , who is ignorant to the facts of how these wells are permitted and drilled. Wondering what our community or neighborhoods will become when this all breaks loose . I have driven out to the Lisbon and surrounding areas. And I have seen a few of the sites that are permitted and being drilled. Although you can only see so much from the road. I also have seen pictures on the internet of units that are being drilled. But I am confused as to when you will know where they will drill. Or if your oil and gas lease will be used for a unit. How much notice is given to you on the actual units being drilled or permitted ? There is talk of Hilcorp and Ni-Source putting a new gas line here. Is there anybody out there that knows where and what route this new line will take ? I am very anxious to learn as much as I can about the process of oil and gas discovery. I am fascinated with the technology and growth of the oil and gas industry. The thought of becoming completely free of oil and gas imports from the middle east in this country . Well let me just say it makes me smile. And to know that our state or community can have a small part in doing this is a honor. I have lived in this small town for 36 years. And I am very anxious and welcome the new opportunities this will bring to our community. We need this in this area and if you don't agree you are just plain damn crazy ! Anybody who can answer any of my questions or would like to help me in understanding more. I would greatly appreciate the help and any info. Thanks

AboutWhat makes this site so great? Well, I think it's the fact that, quite frankly, we all have a lot at stake in this thing they call shale. But beyond that, this site is made up of individuals who have worked hard for that little yard we call home. Or, that farm on which blood, sweat and tears have fallen. [ Read More ] |
