Checking to see if there is any activity for offers from Tug Hill to landowners to sign leases. Our lease expired from Chesapeake and now showing some interest in Marshall County from several land service companies. Seems like at this point in the industry, it's asleep. Anyone seeing activity, or are we just last on the list?

Agree 100%. In many cases IP rates are released to give the company's stock a much need price bump. Decline curves are perhaps one of the least understood characteristics of these wells. Here's a quick write up I did last week explaining the basics. I hear from a lot of people that assume the gas companies are ripping them off because their royalty checks are a fraction of what they were when their well was drilled a year ago. The effect of steep declines and lower commodity prices can be staggering. Hopefully mineral owners are holding on the money they're getting during flush production.
