I signed with Halcon on May 22 in Venango County. Still waiting, should be first week in October for me.
Permalink Reply by Elnathan Cory on August 12, 2012 at 1:38am I need my sleep! Getting anxious.
Permalink Reply by Jim Litwinowicz on August 13, 2012 at 8:34am Man, you need to chill. They have 90 business days to do title work. That would be about four months...or mid October. A few may get paid in 80 or 85 days but don't count on it.
I know how nerve wracking it can be, especially when you get down to about 85 days. You pray for good news and have a deep fear they will call and say sorry.....you don't own the O & G rights.
Be cool and don't spend a dime until the check clears!

Permalink Reply by Elnathan Cory on August 17, 2012 at 5:07am 44 banking days to go! I'll make it one way or another. I think I'll have my doctor put me in a drug induced coma until the checks are given out! lol.
Permalink Reply by Elnathan Cory on August 19, 2012 at 4:25am 42 and counting! October 22 is the actual due date. Calculated from June 13th 90 banking days. The corks will be popping at my place!
Permalink Reply by Jim Litwinowicz on August 19, 2012 at 4:31am I was guessing a field party with a huge bon fire. Maybe you should take a six weeks cruise around the world and return when the check is here.
Does anyone know the payment method? Will it be by certified mail? FedEx? Or electronic transfer?
Permalink Reply by Aaron R on August 19, 2012 at 2:51pm I am late to the game here. Does anyone know if Halcon or any other drilling companies are still active in leasing in Mercer County? We are on the western side of the county.
Permalink Reply by Elnathan Cory on August 19, 2012 at 4:30pm I would imagine they are. Maybe Jim can help you. Hillcorp and Halcon are both the big players in the game. Why so late?
