The Riverfront Landowners Group will be having a SPECIAL meeting 7:00pm Tuesday, November, 1st at the Sardis elementary school.  Our group has partnered with the Southeastern Ohio Landowners Association, Inc. led by Jennifer Garrison, Dr. Bob Chase (from Marietta College) and the Ohio law firm of Bricker and Eckler.

Just a little information about our group. We started as a group of four
landowners who wanted to negotiate a lease for ourselves. However, three
weeks into the process our offer went down instead of up. It was at that
time we decided to look for a team of professionals to help. We were
invited to another group's meeting and met Jennifer there. We took her
information back to our small group and decided to go with her and the
team she had assembled.  The primary reasons we went with Jennifer
Garrison's team are their experience and ties to Southeastern Ohio.

Jennifer Garrison is a local lawyer who has served our county in the
Ohio House of Representatives. She has sat on the Public Utilities and
Energy Committee in the legislature, as well as the Agriculture and
Natural Resources Committee. She has many contacts in the energy sector
and will use those contacts for the betterment of all the landowners of
our group. 

Dr. Robert Chase is the chair of the Department of Petroleum Engineering
and Geology at Marietta College. He has served in this position since
1978.  Dr. Chase has over 35 years experience in the oil and gas
industry and has numerous contacts in the industry across the globe.  In
fact, Dr. Chase has sent hundreds of Petroleum Engineers out into the
workforce of major oil and gas producers. Dr. Chase is on the team for
the above reasons and will bring invaluable technical advice to the
team.

Glenn Krassen is partner in charge of Bricker and Eckler's Cleveland
office, and practices in the areas of energy, oil and gas, public
utilities, and complex energy finance.  He has practiced oil and gas law
for over 30 years, and has experience aggregating large groups of people
for the purchasing electricity and natural gas in northern Ohio.  Glenn
actually represents the largest public retail energy aggregation in the
country.  Glenn brings this unparalleled experience to the Riverfront
Landowners Group.

I also wanted to point out that Greg Lestini, an attorney in Bricker &
Eckler's Columbus office, is a native of Monroe County.  He grew up in
Woodsfield and his parents still live there.  It's nice to have a member
of the team that we know and who understands and appreciates the area.

As you can see, this team includes local people with a great reputation
who have dedicated their lives to serving others.  

We also partnered with Jennifer Garrison and her team because one person
from our group will be serving on the Southeastern Ohio Landowners
Association board of directors (which will be made up of landowners from
southeast Ohio).  This not only allows for a transparent process, but
gives all landowners who join the Riverfront Landowners Group access to
the lease negotiation process. I can also speak from experience that any
time I've contacted Jennifer or a member of her team they have always
returned my calls or emails in a positive and timely manner.  This is
why the Riverfront Landowners Group chose Jennifer Garrison and her
team. We are gaining acreage every week as we continue to educate our
friends, family and neighbors.
