The link says May 4, no year.  The state maps show Utica wells as far west as the Sandusky area which have been there for a while.  Presuming this is 2011, it is not the first Utica well.  There are a couple near Wayne county - straight wells, so one presumes exploratory rather than production.  Check the ODNR site page showing existing wells, plugged wells, and storage tanks.
